It is a sad duty to record the death of Mrs Annie Morgan relict of the late Jam. H. Morgan, which occurred at her residence Fifth Street, Kumara yesterday morning at 7.30. The deceased lady was but 56 years of age. She had been ailing for some time and death was not unexpected. She was a native of County Galway, Ireland, but came to New Zealand as a child. She was at Greenstone in the early days, and it was there she married the late Mr Morgan. She possessed a kindly disposition and her acts of kindness to the sick and afflicted are innumerable. Her motherly advice will be missed by many. She leaves behind a grown up family of ten sons and five daughters, to whom in their bereavement will be extended the sympathy of a wide circle of friend
