Petition
The following petition is to be presented next session. This is the correct thing to do, for only by persistency will the attention of Parliament be drawn to claims:-
To the Honourable Gentlemen, Members of the House of Representatives of New Zealand.
We, the undersigned old soldiers of Her Majesty's Imperial Forces, residing in New Zealand, request that the Hon. Members of the House of Representatives will grant us our sixty acres of land, according to the law under which we were discharged.
