A pretty wedding took place at St. Mark's Church last week, the Rev. A. M. Johnson officiating, when Miss Mabel Lawton was married to Mr. J?. Jackson. The bride's gown was of cream striped voile, and tulle veil and wreath. She wore a gold necklace and pendant 116 years old, having belonged to her grandmother. The chief bridesmaid was Miss S. Lawton, sister of the bride. She wore an empire gown of blue silk voile. The small bridesmaid, Mabel Lawton, niece of the bride, wore a pretty embroidered muslin frock. Mr. L. Pascoe was best man. The bride's mother held a reception after the ceremony.

Dearly loved wife of the late George Jackson (Glazier) of Wellington, and loved mother of Clifford and the late Anthony. A wonderful mother at rest.
