A meeting of Kirkcaldie and Stains' Cricket Club was held on Saturday evening, Mr. J. G. Dawson in the chair. The balance sheet for last season showed a balance to credit. The following officers were elected : — President, Mr. J. Kirkcaldie (re-elected) ; Vice-Presidents, Messrs. J. B. Teasdale (re-elected) and J. J. Wildermoth; Captain, J. G. Dawson (re-elected); Secretary and Treasurer, Mr. H. A. Kirkcaldie (re-elected); Managing and Match Committee, Messrs. J. G. Dawson, H. A. Kirkcaldie, R. S. Gray, H. W. Kersley, and C. Collins; Delegates to Drapers' Cricket Association, Messrs. J. G. Dawson and H. A. Kirkcaldie. Mr. H. A. Kirkcaldie won the Association trophy, presented by Mr. D. R Caldwell; and the club trophies (both for batting and bowling) were won by Mr. R. S. Gray. It was announced that Mr. J. B. Teasdale had intimated his intention of presenting a trophy for the coming season. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to Mr. J. Kirkcaldie for his assistance to the club. It was decided to open the season on the 10th prox. The New Zealand Clothing Factory has presented another trophy to the Rival Club.
