Personal Paragraphs
The death occured suddenly yesterday of Mr Charles Napier Fisk, one of Blenheim's best known older residents and one of a family with very lengthy Marlborough associations. Aged 76, the late Mr Fisk was a son of the late Captain Henry Fisk, an early riverboat master and one-time pilot at the Wairau Bar. Mr Fisk was engaged in grain stores in Blenheim for many years until his retirement some years ago. He was also for a long time custodian of the Masonic Temple and Hall. He was prominent in sport in many capacities over a long period and a member of long standing of the Masonic craft and the Order of Foresters. He leaves a widow and grown-up family of two daughters. The interment took place this afternoon at the Omaka Cemetery
