Wright Mary Christina. On October 31, 1962, at her daughter's residence, 2 Melrose Rd, Mt Roskill, loved wife of the late William (Darkie) and loved mother of Bill, Irene (Mrs Tuohey), Gladys (Mrs Oliver) and June (Mrs Reid); in her 77th year. A service will be held at W. H. Tongue and Son's chapel, today (Thursday), at 3 p.m., funeral then leaving for Waikumete Cemetery.

Circa 1898, Frederick was in the Christchurch Cycling Brass Band this band claimed to be the only one of its type in the world. They held instruments in one hand and steered their Star Cycles with the other. He was the Bandmaster and a Cornet player.
