The Friends of Arthur Riddiford, and of his Family are invited to attend the funeral of his late wife, and their mother, Ellen, which will leave her late residence, Main Road, Blackball, on Saturday, 17th inst. at 1 p.m., for Karoro Cemetery.

Personal Notes
The death occurred early this morning, at her residence, Hart Street, Blackball, of Mrs Ellen Riddiford, wife of Arthur Riddiford, aged 68 years. Deceased, who was born at Pilsey Island, Hampshire, had been confined to bed for the past six weeks. She came to New Zealand as a child, with her parents, who settled at Greymouth, but for the past 37 years, she has resided at Blackball. Deceased is survived by her husband, and three daughters, Mesdames N. Gibson, (Dobson), A. Whiting (Blackball), and J. Tiplady (Geraldine); and nine grandchildren; one brother, Mr A Harrison, senr. (Greymouth), and two sisters, Mesdames Leach (Auckland), and E. Schaefer (Blackball). The funeral will take place at Kororo Cemetery, on Saturday
